Support the growth and development of the Catawba Farm and Food Coalition’s local food marketing programming through the following activities:
1. Develop an outreach plan to engage customers, farmers, volunteers and stakeholders.a.Develop deep product, farm, customer, and stakeholder knowledge of the area served.
2. Develop a marketing plan to exceed established sales goals.
a. Create, execute, and monitor wholesale-focused marketing collateral including but not limited to social media, blog posts, and flyers.
b. Develop a plan for new wholesale customer relationships.
3. Develop an operational plan to ensure organization sustainability.
a. Coordinate closely with the operations and distribution teams to effectively communicate sales activities, projections and issues.
b. Develop an accurate record keeping system to analyze sales history to discover opportunities and implement new strategies.
c. Strategize with CFFC leadership opportunities for sustainability of the Catawba Fresh Market including fundraising, volunteer recruitment and the development of new community partnerships.
AmeriCorps VISTA members build capacity in nonprofit organizations and public agencies to help them more effectively generate the commitment of private sector resources, encourage volunteer service at the local level, and empower individuals and communities.
